In a short time.. but a still a ton of work and practice, I've finally sorta gotten somewhere in my art.

Last week we had the Pioneer league art show over at OZ and I'd like to say our school won by 9 points, which is amazing with the added plus of our teacher getting a mohawk. haha
but also..which i was in complete shock almost, but i got a best of show for the first time, it was on a duct tape sculpture(i'll add it soon), and two artistic merit ribbons on a photo and painting.

Then, also I've had (well, its still going on) my first art show, thanks to some amazing friends and teachers. I don't know what I'd do without them.
over 90 people showed up (which for our town..that's pretty much 3/5 of the population).
It was definitely a lot of fun. After that I met a local artist, he'd called after the show and wanted to trade a large print of one of his pencil drawings for a photo of mine. (I was awed over his stuff..i still cant believe he just wanted one photo for this pen/pencil drawing he traded)
But just yesterday a man from the solar-wind electric company here in town called and commissioned a photo/multimedia for their brochures and posters.

I can't say how much of a relief this has been. I'm just finishing junior year and still need a ton of practice before college but at least it seems to be paying off.
My friends and teachers are most definitely more than i could ever ask for.
